The Village

Turquoise B&B is a two minute walk from Rue Sainte-Catherine, the Gay Village’s vibrant main artery. Since the early 1980s, the LGBT community has been meeting in the Village’s numerous restaurants, boutiques, bars and clubs, in a spirit of open acceptance of differences.

From May to September, Rue Sainte-Catherine is closed to vehicular traffic, becoming one of the city’s only pedestrian streets, where Montrealers and tourists alike come to stroll or dine on one of the many terraces.
